Some people have asked why we give scholarships to those student artists who perform at our recitals. This is a reasonable question considering that Classical Pianists of the Future provides various meals, excellent motel housing, in town transportation and a stipend for transportation costs when requested.
We feel that when artists prepare a program and give of their time and talent some consideration must be given to the fact that they are, in most cases, in school and that schooling is expensive. Therefore, we feel a modest scholarship should be given to help them along in their considerable efforts.
